Maude A.  Bollinger (Smith)
Maude A. Bollinger, 88, of Cockeysville and formerly of Hampstead, passed away Friday September 21, 2018 at the Maryland Masonic Home in Cockeysville.

Born September 8, 1930 in Snydersburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Maude Ann Sims Smith. She was the wife of the late Clinton Bayard Bollinger.

Prior to retirement, she had worked as a medical secretary. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Hampstead, where she played the organ for over 60 years. She was a member of and past matron for Lebanon Chapter #108 of the Order of the Eastern Star and also played their organ for many years.

Surviving are daughters, Carolyn B. Koger of Roanoke, VA, Sherry A. Green of Westminster and Robin L. Rein of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Christopher B. Bollinger and a daughter, Donna L. Bollinger.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, September 26 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, where an Eastern Star memorial service will be conducted 8 p.m. Wednesday.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 27 at the funeral home with the Rev. Norma Schenning officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Hampstead.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to either the Cemetery Fund of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 4300 Church Road, Hampstead, MD 21074 or Rena Robey's Special Project, c/o Lebanon Chapter #108, Order of the Eastern Star, 3300 Kensington Square, Manchester, MD 21102.
