Ronald Sterling Dutterer, 78, of Westminster, passed away on October 17, 2018 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born October 13, 1940 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Sterling and Mary (Halter) Dutterer. He was the husband of Beverly Ann Dutterer.

He served in the US Navy and had been a utilities estimator prior to retirement. He was a member of St. John's (Leister's) Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post 200, Hampstead. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, sports and travel.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Ronald C. Dutterer of Fairfield, PA; daughters, Michele L. Sipes and Theresa R. Chavious, both of Westminster; brothers, Jim Dutterer of Westminster, Stephen Dutterer of Silver Run and Thomas Dutterer of Monkton, MD; sisters, Mary Lou Bullock of Linwood and Barbara Tankosic of Westminster. Also survived by several grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 6:00-8:00 pm
at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018, 11:00 am at St. John's (Leister's) Lutheran Church, 827 Leister's Church Road, Westminster with Rev. Kristin Dubsky officiating. Interment will be in St. John's (Leister's) Cemetery.
