Condolence From: Dr. Paul Friedman
Condolence: Dear Beth, Sarah, Hailey, Pat and Mike.

Your husband, father and brother and my friend left this earth far too soon. Bryan is one of the great people I have had the privilege to know in my life. I looked up to him, I loved him and I will miss him...

Our friendship goes back to the first day of dental school. We had both just turned 23 years old-1 day apart in 1963. We were just kids.

He was one of only two people to call me "Paulie" (the other our good friend Mark Caplan!). Bryan was always quick with a smile and a joke. He was such a hard worker, focused and competitive in life, school and sports but he was always very happy for other people's success.

As I saw him over these final months, we talked about how our friendship spanned 32 years and how we should have spent more time together. I think we both thought we would have more time. No matter how long we might go without seeing each other, we were always able to pick up right where we left off. Comfortable.

We talked about the many adventures we were able to enjoy together: Flag football league games, Triathlons, Running together when our knees still worked, cycling and ski trips to Pennsylvania, Vermont and New Hampshire initially and then Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, British Columbia, France and Italy. We shared many meals and drinks together. We enjoyed talking about family, life and the joys of that day.

Bryan was so proud of you, Beth, Sarah, Hailey. His eyes sparkled when he talked about you. I knew that you were his world.

Good-bye my friend. Your memory is a blessing.

Paul

Condolence: To the Fitzgerald Family. Bryan was our family dentist and friend for over 25 years. He was a wonderful human being and this world was a better place because of him. I will always remember his sense of humor, laugh and smile. He was the best dentist I ever had in my 65 years on this earth. We are grieving his loss very much and cannot even fathom what you are going through. Hopefully knowing that he was so beloved by so many
will be a small comfort to you. My husband Brian and our son
Shane are shocked and saddened as am I. Now he rests in the arms of the Angels. RIP. We will never forget you.

Condolence: While at Dulaney, Bryan could not have been more easy going. As a member of his HS lacrosse teams, he was one of its most coachable players. He regularly brought smiles both during practices and games to his fellow players and coaches. He will be missed not only by his family, but by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. May his loved ones quickly find peace at this difficult time.

Condolence: I loved him like a brother and hated competing against him. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Beth, Sarah and Hailey, you all do not need to be told how special Bryan was but do not be surprised if St. Paul's or L'Hirondelle aren't big enough venues for all his fans. He touched so many lives in a strong and wonderful way!
