Charles Edward “Chuck” West, 73, of Woodlawn, MD passed away on December 9, 2018 at his home. He was born in Baltimore, MD on October 13, 1945 to the late Donald and Dorthy Virginia (nee Francis) Sinclair. He was married to Sharon Lynn (nee Field) West.

He was retired from the State of Maryland after 30 years of service at the Rosewood Center and the Maryland Army National Guard in Westminster, MD.

Chuck was a compassionate and kind man who loved his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, playing with his grandchildren and being outdoors. His family and friends will always remember him as a man with a heart of gold.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Lynn West; 5 daughters Darla Bennington, Michelle Zufall, Melissa Rowand, Angela Childs and Kristin Hornberger; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother Garland Sinclair; sister Dee Cross.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
