Terence Joseph “Terry” Holechek, 59, of Union Bridge, MD passed away on January 14, 2019. He was born on January 11, 1960 in Baltimore, MD to the late Joseph and Elaine (nee Nunnally) Holechek. He was married to Lori Elizabeth (nee Watts) Holechek for 32 years.

Terry worked for Carroll County Public Schools as an elementary school teacher, later transitioning to staff development. He positively impacted the lives of many students along the way, and he made countless friends throughout his travels around the school system. At home, Terry rarely sat still, and he loved spending time outside. His favorite hobby was skiing, a love that he shared with his three boys. When he could not ski, he spent his time hiking and biking countless trails and parks with his family.

He is survived by his wife Lori Elizabeth Holechek; son Alec Holechek of Baltimore, MD; son Sam Holechek of Baltimore, MD; son Jake Holechek of Union Bridge, MD; brother Jim Holechek of Owings Mills, MD; sister Jeanne McDearmon of Owings Mills, MD; sister Mary Jo Holechek of Westminster, MD; brother Pat Holechek of Reisterstown, MD; sister Jackie MacMannis of Edgewater, MD.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road (at Rt. 91), Finksburg, MD 21048 on Monday 01/21/2019 from 3-5 & 7-8 pm. Memorial service will begin at 8 pm. Interment is private.
