Laura Jane Unkart, 73, of Westminster, MD passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019. Born July 3, 1945 in Baltimore City, she was the daughter of the late John Welsey and Mary (Hewitt) Teter. She is survived by John William Unkart; their two sons: Jerry William Unkart and wife Kristin Marie of Westminster, MD, Jay Junior Unkart and wife Michelle Lynn of Westminster, MD; two grandsons: Bailey William Unkart, Colby James Unkart; sister, Cathy Reynard of Frederick, MD; brother, Gary Teter of Belair, MD; and six nephews and nieces.
Laura Jane worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was a member of the Westminster Moose Lodge. She loved working in her flower gardens, playing cards with family and friends and listening to music and dancing. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 18, 2019, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Siese officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
