Mrs. Praxeda Marie Wisniewski, 94, of Hampstead, passed away Monday January 14, 2019 at Brookdale in Westminster, MD.

Born July 14, 1924 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jennie Bukowski. She was the wife of the late Carol Thomas Wisniewski, who died in 2002..

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Wisniewski had worked for Western Electric and later was the manager of Finks Drug Store. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Glyndon. She was a member of the Auxiliary of Post 200 of the American Legion in Hampstead and a member of North Carroll Senior Center. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and senior center bus trips.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond A. and Sharon Wisniewski of New Freedom, PA and Robert D. and Marianne Wisniewski of Hampstead; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 17 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 18 at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester. Entombment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium.
