Richard Lee "Rick"  Moffitt
Richard Lee "Rick" Moffitt, 68, of Glenville, PA and formerly of Hampstead passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at his home.

Born October 6, 1950 in Kingsport, TN, he was the son of the late Orville and Helen Jessee Moffitt. He was the husband of Paula Denise Andreae Moffitt, his wife of 35 years.

Rick was a 1968 graduate of North Carroll High School. He served his country honorably for five years in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to retirement, he was a HVACR technician with both Bob Bowers, Inc. and First Class Mechanical. He was a member of Post 200 of the American Legion in Hampstead; the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1406 and AMVETS Post 22, both in Hanover, PA. He enjoyed shooting pool, woodworking, crabbing and golf.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his son, Michael Scott and daughter, Angela Dawn, both of Hampstead.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 21 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22 at the funeral home with the Rev. Scott Sager officiating. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.
