William Edward Heying, Sr. of Sykesville, formerly of Pikesville, passed away on February 21, 2019 at the Dove House in Westminster. Mr. Heying was born on March 4, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William Bernard Heying and Lelia Mary (Motter) Heying. He was married to the late Patrica Ann (Brindle) Heying.

Mr. Heying was a Branch Manager with NCR. He was a US Army Veteran and enjoyed building and flying his model airplanes. He was a member of the Radio Controlled Modelers of Baltimore.

He is survived by his sons; William E. Heying, Jr. of Fruitland, MD and Richard Bernard Heying and his wife Donna of Sykesville, MD: Grandchildren, Christoper Heying, Jessica Heying and Patrick Heying; Brother of the late Frank Heying and Ethel “Sissy” Faust.

Friends may call at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 101 Church Lane, Pikesville on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:00am. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery.
