Obituary for Bruce Beers Woodring
Bruce B. Woodring, 71, of Upperco, MD passed away on July 23, 2019. Born June 30, 1948 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Roy and Muriel (Beers) Woodring and the devoted husband of Celeste Walsh Woodring.
Bruce was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, who loved the Lord. He enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach with his family, singing in the church choir, motorcycles, and history. He was proud to have served our country as a faithful employee in the Department of Defense for 29 years. He was a true American Patriot who loved his family and his country and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Rose Marie Woodring who passed in 1998.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Celeste Walsh Woodring of Upperco, MD; son, Jeffrey B. Woodring of Hampstead, MD; two daughters: Suzanne G. Anderson of New Market, MD, Rebecca L. Young of Littlestown, PA; step-daughter, Kristen Haegerich of Hampstead, MD; step-son, Jordan Haegerich of Hampstead, MD and 10 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, followed by a service at 12:00 pm at the Eline Funeral Home - 2901 Bloom Rd, Finksburg, MD with Pastor Jim Powell officiating. A private family entombment will be held in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
