Art was a colleague of mine at Glen Burnie High School. I remember Art as a dedicated teacher and cherished friend.

May his memory serve as a source of blessing to his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing Art Coppersmith.

Mr Coppersmith was one of my high school teachers at Glen Burnie High, Class of "83". I remember him for his pleasant demeanor and he always had a story to tell! Sorry to hear of his loss, condolences to his family! I tell this to everyone who has someone who has passed. Do not think if them as Losses but as Blessings! So many were blessed to have known Mr Coppersmith, learned from him, a family who loved him. He isn't lost because he lives in all of us!

Have thought of Art and his family over the years since we worked together at Giant Food stores 117 and 136. Was a wonderful mentor and a good friend. Remember helping him pour concrete for his patio at the back of his home. had good times with him while at Giant as well as doing things outside of work as well. Neither of us was very good at golf, but it was more for the company then the game. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him. Thoughts and prayers to his wife and children.
