Obituary for James Robert Schneck

James Robert  Schneck
James Robert Schneck, 81 of Owings Mills, passed away on March 16, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 8, 1932 in Dundalk, MD to the late Anton and Esther Randall Schneck. He was married to Elizabeth “Betty” Lynch Schneck.
He was a System Analyst with Bell Atlantic which is now Verizon. He had attended the University of MD, College Park and was a fan of Maryland basketball. He was a graduate of Mt. St. Joe’s, class of 1950. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. He won several awards with the MD Senior Olympics in Table Tennis. He also went to the National Olympics. He was an avid golfer and a lifetime member of the Point Breeze Pioneers Club.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son John David Schneck, daughter Susan Catherine MacWilliams, son James Thomas and his wife Michele Schneck and daughter Karen Patricia and her husband Rev. David Simpson. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Predeceased by sons Paul Michael and Daniel Robert Schneck, brother Anthony Schneck and sisters Jessica Olson, Shirley Giduski and Dolly Dively and one grandson, Jacob Schneck.
Friends may call at ELINE FUNERAL HOME 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Thursday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Glyndon on Friday at 10:00am.
