Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Ruther can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Cousin Jean Kramer Iannacone
Condolence: Dear Patty, Stephen, Tricia, Lori and Linda and families. Words cannot express the sadness which is tugging at my heart. As "Steve" was a strong-willed beautiful man, I know he has passed onto all of you SOME OF HIS GREAT CHARACTERISTICS TO HOLD YOUR SPIRITS OF LOVE TOGETHER DURING THIS VERY DIFFICULT TIME. What a loving family you are and you can cherish ALL THOSE WONDERFUL MEMORIES. You are in my prayers.
Love,
Jean

Condolence: My Dearest friend Pat and Tricia, Stephen and Lori:
Steve Ruther quite simply was a great man. I was so blessed to have known him. I think of his beautiful warm smile, his robust laugh, his strength of character, his teasing ways and his loving thoughtfulness. He was so full of energy and life. I admired him and had so much respect for him. I often thought how lucky you were that he was yours. He was YOUR husband and he was YOUR father….a man to be so proud of! This is a tremendous loss. I will miss him so very much!! My heart is breaking for you all.

Condolence: Dear Pat,
We are thinking of you and Trisha, Stephen and Lori. We have so many memories of you all and can't believe you have lost Steve so suddenly. We were remembering how hard he worked to prepare for and move our wedding at the last moment from your house to Trinity. Also remembering him being Zach's unexpected godfather. Sending you love and so very sad .

Condolence From: Bob Pellecchia
Condolence: God bless Steve and his family. I remember Steve at a different time in life, Steve being a few years younger and I had recently left the Navy. Steve spent a good part of his life working on the nuclear submarines that I serviced when I was on active duty. God must have needed a good Marine to round out those heavenly battalions. God speed Steve and Semper Fi, but I know you need no reminder.

Condolence: I am truly sadden to hear about your loss. Steve was truly one of the good guys and it was my privilege and honor to know and work with him. He was a good friend and an enjoyable person to be around. He always had time to help others even if he had a lot to get done himself. No matter how challenging and demanding things might have gotten at work, he always had a story to tell to cheer us up. He will deeply be missed by all of us at CBP and those that were blessed to know him throughout his life. Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, and your family, during this difficult time. Semper Fi Marine – Job Well Done!
