Obituary for David W. Evans Sr.
David W. Evans, Sr. passed away on January 10, 2015 at his home in Owings Mills. Mr. Evans was born on October 22, 1940 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Paul and Vivian Wertz Evans. He is the husband of Nancy Messick Evans.
Mr. Evans was a Systems Analyst for Social Security Administration. He was in the United States Army and a Baltimore Sun Papers distributor in the Baltimore City area.
Including his wife, Mr. Evans is survived by his children, David W. Evans, Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland, Jill Carstens of Union Bridge, MD, Joseph “Matt” Evans of Frederick, MD and Linda Stewart of Austin, Texas. Grandfather of April and Heather Evans, Benjamin, Josiah and Bethany Carstens, Amanda and Elli Evans, James Corona, Kaylynn, Ruth, John and Lilli Evans and Mackenzie Stewart. Great Grandfather of William Shives, Alex Sheehan, Hayden and Harlan Fringer , Brooklynn and Alaanah Evans.
Friends may call at Eline Funeral Home 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 5:00-7:00PM. Funeral Services on Tuesday at 7:00PM. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Life Church, 2122 West Joppa Road, Lutherville, Maryland 21093.
