Obituary for David Asher

David M. Asher, 73, of Hanover, died on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at his daughter's home in Hampstead. Born July 6, 1941 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Leslie and Doris (Epstein) Asher.

He had been a truck driver, a teamster and a security guard. He enjoyed motorcycle riding; getting together with teamsters and spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Lucky who predeceased him.

Surviving are daughters, Sharon Crowley and husband Alexander of Hanover, PA, Ilene L. Asher and companion Sam Watson of Manchester, MD, and Rochelle "Shelly" Hendler and husband Allan of Hampstead, MD; grandsons, Eric Myles Hendler, Jared Allen Watson; granddaughters, Brittany Nicole Hendler, Kiah Anna Watson, Rebecca Noel Watson; sister, Carol A. Antwarg Harris and wife Pat Harris; brother, Earl "Buddy" Asher and wife Tina. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his "adopted daughter" Krystal Landis.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oheb Shalom Memorial Park, Reisterstown. Cantor Robert Gerber will officiate.
