The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John DeCarlo can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Poppy John One of the few gentleman I have known

Too many years since i have seen my forever friend , Mary. For many years I felt like part of this family and for your loss I am so saddened.  Everyone loved Poppy John including my children, Marcy and James.  Poppy John saved A.J. and Marcy from a crying fit and fight over a cowboy hat while Mary and I laughed so hard.  So many memories i hold close to my heart,  cannoli making with mom mom Maria, those memories of such a warm , gentle, caring man with a wonderful family, that always made me feel like family.  I miss those days, and think of them often.  The footprints he left behind are the kind of footprints we should all leave.  My deepest sympathy to MOM MOM Maria from the deepest part of my heart , truly. And Mary to you my long ago friend , I do miss you and Tag along Tony. Prayers for your entire family ♥
