Obituary for Betty Ruth Wolfe
Betty Ruth Wolfe, 84, of Hampstead, passed away on 8/11/2015, surrounded by her loving family at CCGH.
Born on 8/12/1930 in Hampstead, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Erma Bull. She was a lifelong member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church. She was the loving and devoted wife of 63 years to Earl Thomas Wolfe.
Surviving her are her husband Earl Wolfe of Hampstead, MD; daughters: Debbie (Larry) Taylor of Manchester, MD, and Vickie (Doug) Barnes of Hanover, PA; grandchildren: Tracey (Eddie) Paulsen of Manchester, MD, Tiffany (Pete) Meadowcroft of Reisterstown, MD, Brandon Barnes of New Oxford, PA; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother Terry (Joy) Davidson of Parkton, MD.
She is preceded in death by her parents, boy and girl twin infants, and her sister Helen Curtis.
The family will receive friends on Friday, 8/14/2015 from 6pm – 8pm at Eline Funeral Home in Hampstead. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 8/15/205 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at St Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Melvina Stricklin will officiate.
