Big Heart / Good Soul

My mother, Evelyn, moved to Silverbook Farms in 1992, give or take a year. I'm not sure when Ron and Mary moved into the building one over from my mom's but I'm sure glad they did. Not long after meeting, Ron and Mary became fast friends with my mom, brightening her days with their good nature and kind ways. She could not have asked for better, more thoughtful neighbors. The 3 of them enjoyed their time together, often in the company of their beloved dogs, Sugar and Tippi.

I'm grateful for having known Ron, a real gentleman with a great big heart and a good, kind soul. It was a pleasure to be in his company and it was refreshing to see a man who seemed truly content with his life, happily married to the wonderful Mary, always smiling, laughing and ready to help others in any way he could. This is especially impressive given the fact that Ron struggled with health issues. Despite these difficulties, he was determined to live life to the best of his abilities and always maintained his sunny disposition. I know he will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. Rest easy Ron.

Love,

Joyce
