Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Anna Blais can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Life Story for Anna Maria Blais (Ciavaglia)

Anna Maria  Blais (Ciavaglia)
Anna Maria Blais, 94, of Reisterstown, passed away on October 4, 2015. She was born in Providence, RI to the late Antonio and Pasqua Ciavaglia on November 28, 1920. She was married to Francis Gilbert Blais, Sr. for 64 years.
Anna was an active Naval Veteran and served our country from 1944-1946. She graduated from Brown University in RI in 1950 and earned her R.N. degree (for which she actively worked until 1995).
She loved to sew, cook and watch the "Orioles" play ball. There was no bigger fan than she. Anna was loved by so many for her kindness, generosity and unselfish nature. You never left her home without taking something with you (especially her world famous coffee cake).
She truly will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband and her six children Patricia Ann McLelland, Karen Frances Baldwin, Francis Gilbert Blais, Jr., Diane Ellen Bartlett, Kathe Lynne Reip and Stephen Joseph Blais; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, 3-5 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, Glyndon on Wednesday, October 14, 2015,10am. Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
