Obituary for Grason Emerson "Bud" Meredith

Grason "Bud" Emerson Meredith, 76, of Hampstead, passed away on November 4, 2015 in Baltimore, MD. Born December 29, 1938 in West Liberty, MD, he was the son of the late Grason and Naomi Meredith
Bud served his country honorably in the US Army at the onset of the Korean War.
Bud worked as huckster throughout the City of Baltimore; selling his wares to stores, restaurants, and door-to-door. It has been said that he had the gift of gab and never met a stranger. He was an Honorary Member of the Hampstead Lions Club. In his spare time, Bud enjoyed collecting old coins and baseball cards. Bud was a devoted grandfather who enjoyed attending all his grandchildren's sporting events. His family remembers him as a hard-working-man who always provided for his family.
Surviving are his wife Winifred Meredith; two sons: Michael Meredith of Hampstead, MD, William Douglas Meredith of Hampstead, MD; daughter, Karen Lord of Manchester, MD; three grandsons: William Thomas Meredith, Scott Meredith, Jacob Meredith; four granddaughters: Savana Meredith, Ciera Lord, Sabrina Lord, Casey Meredith; two great-grandsons: Rusty Meredith, Ethan Meredith; great-granddaughter, Lilly Meredith; brother, Edgar Meredith of Finksburg, MD.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home in Hampstead, MD. A service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Eline Funeral Home, with Rev. Melissa Rudolph officiating. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.
