Gino Salvatore Gilberto, 58, of Westminster, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at his home after a short illness. Born February 16, 1958 in Baltimore, he was the son of Salvatore and Anna (Escolopio) Gilberto of Florida. He was the beloved husband of Darlene (Gill) Gilberto, his wife of 39 years.

He was a avid sports watcher and enjoyed being with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are sons, Gino Gilberto, Jr. and wife Lisa of Manchester, Nicholas Gilberto and wife Lacie of Westminster; granddaughters, Julianna Gilberto and Lexi Gilberto, both of Manchester, MD; sister, Anita Golden; brothers, Salvatore Gilberto, Mark Gilberto, Joseph Gilberto. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, 2016, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
