Everett Dean  Cook Sr.
Everett Dean Cook, Sr. of Gamber, MD died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Dove Hospice in Westminster, MD. Born on June 17, 1935 in Bakersville, North Carolina he was the son of the late Lonnie H. Cook and Ella Mae Cook. He was the loving husband of Virginia Arlene Cook for 61 years.
Everett was involved with construction work most of his life and before retiring worked with HTI, Inc. Contractors. He also owned his own trucking service and was awarded several Million Miles safety awards. He was a longtime member of Northwest Baptist Church and served his Lord in many capacities.
He is survived in addition of his wife Virginia by daughter Debra Ogan and husband Larry, daughter Kathy Schuerholz and husband Leroy, son Everett D. Cook, Jr. and wife Debbie, son Robert Leroy Cook and wife Biena and son William J. Cook. Grandchildren Brandi Taylor, Jade Reider, Sherri Wilkerson, Britni Downey, Breanna Cook, Zek Cook, Angie Ogan, Dustin Ogan, William J. Cook, Jr., Anna M. Cook, Amber L. Cook, David Wiley, Jennifer Bennett, Carrie Miller, Vincent Schuerholz, brothers Dudley and James Cook and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Marvin Cook.
Family will receive friends on Friday 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road (at Rt. 91), Finksburg. Funeral service on Saturday, 10am at the Northwest Baptist Church, 300 Westminster Pike, Reisterstown. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
