Mildred Ruth  Smith (Nagle)
Mildred Ruth Smith, 95, of Pasadena, and formerly of Hampstead, passed away on November 21, 2016. Born May 26, 1921 in Hampstead, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Mary (Albaugh) Nagle. She was the wife of Campbell Houk Smith, Jr., who predeceased her in 2000.

She was a member of Alesia Free Methodist Church where she had been a Sunday School teacher, and had been a secretary of the Women's Missionary Society. Mildred had been an order entry clerk at Random House and had also worked at Allender Plumbing. She was a former Cub Scout Den Mother and was a member of the Random House Alumni.

Surviving are her daughter, Karen Simmons of Pasadena, MD; son, Barry Smith of Cedarville, OH; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by infant son,Terrance Smith, and deceased grandson, Wade Smith.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main St. Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home. Interment in Greenmount United Methodist Cemetery.
