Betty L. Singleton, 74, of Reisterstown passed away on December 26, 2016 at the Dove House, Westminster. She was born on January 12, 1942 in Sneedville, TN to the late Milum Greene and Ethel Vaughn Greene. She was married to the late William Winfield Singleton, Jr.

She worked as a bindery specialist at Port City Press. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and to travel. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her neighbors and also her friends.

She is survived by daughter Amy Shipley of Gray, TN; daughter Hope “Robin” Parks of Newville, PA; son Michael Singleton of Florida; daughter Misty Logan Royal of Reisterstown; brother Milum Greene, Jr. of Hanover, PA; sister Myrtle Rogers of Church Hill, TN; sister Juanita Tobin of Baltimore; sister Iva Shore of Sevierville, TN; predeceased by sister Anna Stapleton Smith, brother Tom Greene and brother Randall “Pete” Greene; survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Thursday 6-8pm. Service will be held on Thursday, 7:30pm at the funeral home. Private interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
