Robert Lemoine Carey, age 93, a United States Marine Corps veteran, died of natural causes at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland on Monday, March 13, 2017. Born February 23, 1924 in the Northern Neck of Virginia, he was a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park, a life-long Terps fan and avid reader of history, biographies and detective stories. Survivors include his four sons, Robert Wayne, Bruce Lemoine, Kenneth Fletcher, Glenn Morrison and a sister, Judith Aprahamian. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee.

Family and friends will be received at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, Maryland, 21136, Sunday, March, 19, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Burial will be held at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Monday, March 20,2017, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. Marine Corps service members will be providing Final Honors prior to burial. Those wishing to attend Final Honors should arrive at cemetery administrative building at 10:30 a.m. Service to start at 10:45 a.m.
