Condolences

Condolence From: Tara
Condolence: I am so sorry that Dad/Pop has passed away. Dad was a very easy going man who loved his wife and family, loved his 35 Ford (I was partial to the vette though) and loved trains. Dad was truly a part of all of us and we love and miss him greatly. I was blessed to have known Dad for 27 years - not only as a father but as a grandfather to Duncan. We are all blessed to have had Dad in our lives and I would give anything for Dad to still be with us today.

We miss you Pop!

Condolence: There are so many memories…when I was little and Uncle Tommy and Aunt Toot were dating, if I caught them “smooching”, I’d bribe him to give me a quarter so I wouldn’t tattle to my mom…as I became a teenager, Uncle Tommy and I would play badminton in Pop McAlister’s field, but we would see which one of us could hit the birdie (to each other) the highest or the farthest and if the other one of us could actually hit back…He and my Dad would do a “Jack-in-the-Box” taco run, bringing back oodles of tacos for all of us to eat…as an adult and I bought my home, he help me with a couple of repairs…At family gatherings, I’d still pick on Uncle Tommy to “give me a quarter”……Uncle Tommy, I’d give you back every quarter you ever gave me if you could have stayed with us longer - even if just for a little while.
I love you and miss you…
Love, Barbie

Condolence: While I never had the pleasure of meeting "Uncle Tommy" personally, I certainly feel like I knew him through his niece. Uncle Tommy was described as a loving man, funny with his quick sense of humor, that was blessed enough to marry the love of his life. His influence and the difference he's made is clear in the way he's helped shape his grandson into a young man anyone would be proud of.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Condolence: The two of you shared a very special bond and love, something some people spend their lives searching for. Hopefully you can find some solace in sharing that gift for 49 years. Love you
