Obituary for Raymond Earle "Ray" Woollard

Raymond Earle "Ray"  Woollard
Raymond Earle Woollard, 69, of Hampstead, MD passed away on October 3, 2017. Born December 26, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the George Woollard and the late Virginia (Snyder) Woollard and the devoted husband of Debbie Woollard.

Ray served his country honorably in the US Navy. Before retiring, he worked for the University of Maryland as a High Voltage Supervisor. Ray was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and target shooting. He was a member IBEW Local Union 24, Lebanon Lodge #175 and Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Debbie Woollard; father, George Woollard; daughter, Dawn Abbott; son, Brad Woollard; granddaughter, Jennifer Abbott; grandson, Eric Abbott; sister, Marjorie Swiecicki and brother-in-law, Kenneth Swiecicki.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 6, 2017, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St, Hampstead, MD. A Celebration of Ray's Life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 10:00 am at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Fred Sipes officiating.
