Condolences

Condolence From: Larry Faulkner
Condolence: Growing up around the Leith Walk Elementary School was a treat for all the kids in the neighborhood. The facilities gave us boys the freedom to experience so many things without relying on our parents to take us elsewhere and to form bonds that lasted a lifetime. Who we became had a lot to do with who we were then.

Brian was always in the thick of every activity, particularly in the summer from sunup to sundown. I remember his quick wit and ever-present smile. He was competitive by nature but was the consummate team player. When he experienced a growth spurt, he became the tallest among us and we played for hours and hours on the school basketball courts. In a recent conversation with Brian, he remembered with pride how he knew all the moves and could block any shot from our friend who later became a star player for UMBC. Well, at least that’s how he remembered it (lol).

Brian was a great friend and he will be missed by all “the gang” from Gleneagle Road. Rest in peace Brian.

Condolence: I was sorry to learn of Brian's passing. It brings back many good memories. I was with him in the foursome when he set the Cub Hill Golf Club record 73. It always made me envious because he had such natural ability that i will never possess. I worked with him for several years and he was always right there with information and answers to the most complex problems. He will certainly be missed by many people. All my condolences to his family.
