Memories of Uncle Frank

My Uncle Frank has been in my life for as long as I can remember; he has been many things to me at different times of my life, but the word "Family" is the way to describe him.

My wife and I have recently spent 2 of our family vacations with Frank & Hazel.  The first time was to take our famly to Washington DC and the second was to Disney World (these are monumental vacations in a family's life); in fact, they were scheduled to meet us again this year (we loved spending time with them every chance that we had).  The vacations will be remembered for the rest of our lives and I am so glad that the kids got to know Uncle Frank (everybody called him "Uncle Frank" even the waiters & staff that we met in Las Vegas when my Brother Bob and I met Frank & Hazel for a weekend).

The Bradley Family began having Family Runions in 2004 and we get together every3-4 years.  Frank & Hazel have not missed a reunion until this year; Frank passed away this year on June 30th which was the 1st day of our 4th Reunion.  the Bradleys were together as a Family when the sad news came and it was somber at first and quickly the thoughts went to Hazel.  I was so encouraged to see the children remembering the great times and fond memories they all have of this wonderful couple.

My son Nicholas & nephew Zachary are pictured at Medieval Times Restaurant in DC in with Frank & Hazel and in a school project "letter for Memorial Day", Nicholas wrote about Veterans; notice that he listed Frank first in the letter and included a photo of Frank in Vietnam!

Frank had a kind heart and a giving spirit that will be greatly missed and frequently thought of.

Love,

Mike, Ann & Nicholas Bradley along with Zachary & Katelyn Pfund (who also refer to Frank as "Uncle Frank") and Bev & Jerry Pfund (my wife's parents who became fast friends)
