Obituary for George L. Hood Sr.

George L. Hood, Sr., 87, of Reisterstown, passed away on April 14, 2015 in Golden Crest Assisted Living, Hampstead. He was born on January 22, 1928 in Baltimore to the late George L. and Anna Nash Hood. He was married to the late Margaret B. Hood.
He was a proud member of Local Union #28 and also a member of Local Union #24 IBEW. He is a U S Army veteran.
He is survived by sons George L. Hood, Jr, Steven L. Hood and Jody F. Hood; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; predeceased by daughter Karen D. Hood.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Friday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Service will be held at 8pm on Friday. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.ElineFuneralHome.com
