Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Treuchel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Baby Sitter

I have not seen nor kept in touch with Bob for over 65 years but we used to live in the same house at 2030 W. Lexington St. with our respective parents (mine being the Schnappingers) and Bob's dog Blackie.  We went to the same church, which was Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, at Pulaski and Baltimore Sts.  My being nine years younger and in elementary school, Bob was sometimes, by default, my Saturday night baby sitter.  Although he probably didn't cherish that role, he was a good baby sitter nonetheless and I'm sure was an excellent husband and father..
