Condolence: My Shirley Jean. I just received a card this morning sharing this very sad news. Shirley was the best, she was my mentor, my friend, my other mother as I was navigating through my twentiies. To this day I hear her voice sharing her words of wisdom and I pass along the things she taught me to others navigating through life and relationships. She was beautiful, funny and wise and had the biggest heart. Her girls and her granddaughters and George were everything. I was so very lucky to have had Shirley Jean in my life. We drifted apart over the years but she was always, always, always in my thoughts and on my heart. I love you Shirley Jean. Rest peacefully my beautiful friend🙏♥️💐

Condolence: Mrs. Shirley was beautiful inside and out. We were together for 36 years. We always joked that we were together longer then any men in our lives. She was more then my client, she was my friend. Well Shirl, I'm going to do your hair today, "one for the road". I love you and I'm going to miss you terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. George, Cindy, Nancy, her beautiful granddaughters and those presious great grandchildren that she adored. SJH, RIP my friend.

Condolence: My memories of Ms. Shirley come from my high school days. I remember how hard working she was and how much she loved her daughters -- Cindy and Nancy. I feel fortunate for having known her. She was quick with a smile and laugh and was always one of the most beautiful persons I have known.

I loved her and her girls. They still mean a lot to me even after all these years.
